1. Has the school/work thing been worth it?
It has been very hard and it has left little time for me to have fun but on the whole it has been worth it. I would have never been able to afford to go back to school without my current profession and, when I'm done, I'll be one of the few people who will have both sets of skills. I love to play with computers and if someone will pay me to do that then I'm set. Many people have told me that one cannot be happy in a job and that it only allows you to do the things you really enjoy. I don't believe that. I believe that I will find a vocation that I can be passionate about. Really, in the end, life amounts to the challenges that you set for yourself. Set yourself lofty goals and your life will always have meaning.
2. What is the most important thing you learned from your first marriage?
You ask hard questions! ;) I learned that sometimes, even when you give everything you can to someone else, it's not enough. It's not her fault or mine. I cherish the times that we were happy together and have learned from the sadness at the end.
3. Where in Europe would you like to end up, if you do end up over there?
Someplace you might actually visit! Seriously, Romania is always a choice as we have friends and family there. I love Italy, especially Tuscany, and would love to have a villa there. France is beautiful and I have family in Portugal. Any of those places would be fine and Europe is so small that everywhere else is easy to get to.
4. Can we never fight again, please?
We had a very minor argument once at the border. I don't want to ever have a fight with you ever again.
5. Do you think our lack of gaming is only because of poor availability, or is it just a lack of discipline on the group members?
I think the real reason is that you all hate me. ;) Actually, I think the reasons we don't game like we should is that we are spread over a wide geographical area, some of us have children and some of us are just juggling too many responsibilities right now. Being disciplined sort of interferes with the fun aspect of gaming. It should be fun to game not be a duty.
The rules are below:
1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
